Wherever you go as a visitor to Africa, you can expect a warm welcome! Hospitality, warmth, and generosity betray underlying realities of poverty, disease, corruption, and civil war. In the midst of it all, the Church in many nations has experienced incredible growth. African church leaders have tremendous vision for their nations and beyond, and we are privileged to serve with them as they equip leaders and bring the good news of Christ and Kingdom to needy people.

UWM mobilization coaches look forward to hearing your story and your sense of God’s leading for connecting with the world. Here are brief descriptions of ministry opportunities around the world. These represent unique ways of fulfilling our mission to “serve with Christian leaders globally to plant, nourish, and reproduce churches that delight God and surprise the world.”

UWM is also willing to open new fields at the invitation of national leaders in a nation and/or when a U.S. church wishes to send a team in partnership with us.

Church planter training and leadership development ministries, helping Kenyan churches reach their nation and beyond.

Mali

Leadership development and ministry training among Malinke people. Evangelism and church planting among unreached Muslim Fulani people.

Senegal

Church planting, ministry training, mercy and agricultural/development ministries among the Muslim Serer, Diola and Wolof peoples.

Teachers at Dakar Academy, a K-12 international school.

Tanzania

Training of teachers for schools in Tanzania
