United World Mission is committed to helping the local church be everything that God intends. Through many years of working with churches we have developed services to assist North American churches connect, serve, and impact the world through strategic partnerships.
These services include the following:
Mark has been actively involved in various aspects of ministry since 1974. Throughout the years he has assisted churches, para-church ministries and businesses in developing their staff and volunteers in strategic outreach and kingdom involvement leading to transformational impact and churches planted. He served as a Mission/Administrative Pastor, owned businesses, and held executive positions in ministry.
Mark has developed and guided cross-cultural church planting and other ministry in several countries while traveling in more than 75 countries and leading more than 50 short-term trips. In 1998 he joined United World Mission as Assistant to the President where he was excited to become involved in a movement, which was planting churches across the world. Today Mark's role at United World Mission has expanded to include personal coaching, mobilization, field development, international partnerships, church consultation and leadership development.
He is a regular lecturer in the course “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” and meets with church leadership teams on a regular basis discussing integration of new concepts, development of shared resources, foci, and transitional processes and setting up global partnerships and church based teams. In addition Mark has coach and guided more than a thousand people considering cross-cultural involvement and career change.
Mark and his wife, Cathy, have been married for 33 years. They have three adult children, five grandchildren, and reside in Matthews NC.
Mark Szymanski
Tom was born and raised in the family of a pastor and well-known evangelist. Becoming a Christian later in life, Tom was constrained by the biblical mandate to take the Gospel to the whole world. Tom is self-educated in missions and has invested his adult life in helping churches maximize their potential for world evangelization. Tom was missions chairman for 10 years at Berachah Church in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, and missions director for five more years at Chelten Baptist Church in Dresher, Pennsylvania. Tom is currently the Director for Missional Consultations for United World Mission. Prior to that he served 15 years with ACMC (Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment) as Northeast Regional Director and Supervisor of Regional Ministries. With ACMC Tom inspired, challenged and trained hundreds of churches in strengthening their commitment and approach to missions. And essentially, that is what he continues to do through United World Mission. Tom is a sought after missions speaker and consultant for churches throughout the eastern United States. He has lectured on world missions and the local church at Seminary of the East, Philadelphia College of the Bible, Westminster Seminary and Columbia International University. He is a regular lecturer in the course “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement”. Tom has co-authored a book with Lois Shaw entitled “Missions in the 21st Century”. Shaw publishing company in Wheaton, IL publishes it. His second book “Today’s All-Star Missions Churches" is published by Baker Book House in Grand Rapids, MI. Tom is married to Nancy and they have two grown children and five grandchildren. Tom & Nancy now live in Lancaster, PA.
