Expedition237 is a two-year “test drive” in missions. It is a fast track to global ministry that provides an opportunity for men and women who want to serve and learn now, but who are unsure of God’s long-term plan.
We call it a “mission apprenticeship.” Participants go out for 24 months into a context where they build relationships with Christians from other nations, learn culture, get a grasp on a new language, and work in a team with others to make Christ known. Expedition237 missionaries receive ongoing training and mentoring from a community of long-term missionaries as they serve together.
The goal is not that everyone who goes through Expedition237 will serve globally for the long-term, although we expect that some will. The goal is to shape world Christians who see the world through God’s eyes whether they serve as cross-cultural missionaries or as doctors, teachers, in business, or other vocations as part of God’s missional people in North America.
