God's call to Big Vision is a call to prayer. Our vision of seeing a worshipping, disciple-making church within reach of everyone in the world is purposely beyond our means so that all glory and praise goes to God. It is a vision so radical that it can only be accomplished through steadfast, informed and heartfelt prayer.

United World Mission relies on the prayers of hundreds of individuals around the world, day in and day out. We welcome and value your prayer support.

Prayer Guide for Oct. 7-20th, 2008

Prayer Guide is United World Mission's way of communicating prayer requests and items of praise. Here are some recent excerpts that you can pray for now.

New: Senegal- Pray for the medical clinics being conducted in various neighborhoods outside of Dakar (suffered for floods) under the auspices of the Evangelical Fraternity of Dakar.  They received both physical and spiritual help.  They are in hopes of continuing this ministry over the next several months.

New: Slovenia - Pray for the funds to be raised (several thousands) for New Hope church missions trip.  Pray that the bookings for the various halls to be played in by New Hope would be finalized.  Also pray for the “Sermon on Faith” by Trubar being published for the first time in modern Slovene and that it would reach many Slovenes with the Truth of the Gospel.

New: Chile - Pray for us as we are trying to write a chronological storying in Mapuche so they can begin to get a worldview of what God is doing which is a real challenge that requires an in depth understanding of the culture.
