God's call to Big Vision is a call to prayer. Our vision of seeing a worshipping, disciple-making church within reach of everyone in the world is purposely beyond our means so that all glory and praise goes to God. It is a vision so radical that it can only be accomplished through steadfast, informed and heartfelt prayer.

United World Mission relies on the prayers of hundreds of individuals around the world, day in and day out. We welcome and value your prayer support.

Prayer Guide for May 21- June 4, 2007

Prayer Guide is United World Mission's way of communicating prayer requests and items of praise. Here are some recent excerpts that you can pray for now.

New: Central Asia: Pray for Uzbekistan - it makes up 40% of the total population of Central Asia and is the country least reached with the Gospel in that area.  Pray for the ongoing translation of the Bible into Uzbek, for the availability of literature, and for a loosening of restrictions on religious activity in this country.

New: Asia -  Pray for the trip to the E. coast of China.  A couple will meet a friend of theirs and meet with a Chinese fellowship that has a heart for Tibetans.  Pray that they might be an encouragement to this fellowship. Always be praying for divine appointments with opportunities to build relationships with the nationals.

New: Costa Rica- Paul and Dori - Praise, they arrived safely in Costa Rica along with all 13 pieces of luggage, cat and dog included.  Pray for the family to get settled-in and adjusted to the new culture and that they will get their computer connections working.
