Questions You May Be Asked
Along with gathering information and data from mission organizations you should also be prepared to answer some from them. These are simple and by no means exhaustive and each agency may ask different ones but most of these are foundational.
What do you do well? What do you like to do? What drew you to do what you are presently doing?
How do you plan to finance your mission involvement? (Support raising, money saved, etc.)
Are you liable for any debts? (loans, car, mortgage, etc.)
Briefly describe how you became a Christian.
What do you do personally to grow in your relationship with Christ?
What’s the name of the church you currently attend? How long have you been involved?
What types of ministry experience have you been involved with? (Evangelism, children’s ministry, mission trips, etc.)
How did you get interested in missions and what led you to this point of investigation?
What hurdles do you have to overcome to get involved in missions? (Financial, work, children, health, etc...)
