United World Mission partners with Imara, a Holistic Ministry that strengthens the Church, encouraging, resourcing and equipping leaders to bring transformation to their communities. Imara is changing the face of the Church in northern Tanzania.Mike and Lyndal Rothery have been working in Tanzania since 1993 and have established a large network of relationships whereby they are effectively resourcing and equipping over 1000 Pastors! They have developed a strong local ministry team of over 20 people working in four major areas: Pastor and Leader Development, Evangelism, HIV/ Aids Ministry, and Community Development.
