While the economy suffers and many Latvians have a pessimistic view of the world, many also view the church as a trustworthy institution. 80% of the youth believe that there is a God. This is exciting news. Church leaders are hungry for training and education and some evangelical denominations have seen significant growth. United World Mission is looking for passionate, gifted people who want to see Latvians reach their nation for the Kingdom.
