Lithuania was the last European nation to be Christianized. After enduring Soviet rule, the Catholic Church is the predominant religious influence in the society, but struggles to maintain relevance in the 21st century. Recent polls show that only 14% of Catholics attend services on a weekly basis. The good news is that there is unprecedented religious freedom and there is a need for training of pastors and other church leaders. United World Mission is actively looking for mature believers who are passionate about seeing Lithuanians build a strong church capable of reaching their nation.
