Slovenia

Slovenia is the most prosperous of the former Yugoslav Republics. It has a strong Catholic tradition, but struggles with the spiritual vitality of its’ people. Atheism and Abortion are commonplace and pose a strong opposition to the credibility of the church. There are few evangelical churches and there is a great need for training and teaching particularly among the youth. United World Mission currently has relationships with Slovene pastors and is actively looking to mobilize mature North American believers to work alongside these partners.
