Community Adoption
We
met a group of young people in Chile who had
been studying world missions for 4 years. We
began to attend their missions meetings and one day
the pastor's wife, Elizabeth, came to the meeting and suggested
that God had brought us together for a purpose. The group
wanted to put their missionary zeal into practice, and we
had the Omega Course to train them. I suggested that there
were 300 Mapuche communities in our region without a church.
Dani, (next to me in bright blue below), told us that her
grandmother lives in Niagara , one of these communities. It
was clear to everyone that Elizabeth (front right) was right
that God had brought us together for a purpose. They decided
to adopt Niagara. This is the first community adoption since
the need for the 300 were made public last November. Pray
for the other 299, too!
