Raising Cattle & Sharing the Faith

"Joe" came to us from the village after being in the faith only a couple of days. He wanted to learn how to raise beef cattle and was willing to live on the farm and be under apprenticeship. But his hunger to learn far exceeded cattle; he was hungry to learn all he could about the Lord. His faith was so exuberant, he said he preached to the cows, prayed for them to be profitable under his care and he quickly learned Russian so he could share with the Russian neighbors around him! Now, after 2 years of studying at the farm, participating in our business training, and one-on-one discipleship, "Joe" returned to the village. We just received a note from his pastor uncle who said, "Joe' is really solid in the faith now and will be a great asset to the church in the village." Praise the Lord for such fruit! What an honor to be a little part in God's wonderful plan.
