Romanian Church Planting
Raul
has established a church in the central city of Draganest.
The Draganest Church appears to be a normal start-up church
that could be found anywhere in Eastern Europe. It is
not a "super church" - but it provides a simple
model that is easily duplicated. Raul has capitalized
on that fact. If there is at least one thing that sets
the Draganest Church apart - it is that it was "born
pregnant." Meaning, this young church has already
given birth to daughter churches in three nearby towns and
villages! These are granddaughter churches- third generation
from the Alba Church.
Raul and his team
are not the only examples of Alba attempting to fulfill the
Great Commission. They have sent church planting teams
to other poorly reached areas of Romania nd to Turkey and
China. Marius, a young Romanian in Olt County, has a
burden to move to Baikal region of Siberia, Russia.
This shows that the church in Alba does not just delegate
the church planting task - they empower those whom they send
to be senders themselves. They spread the gospel and
the vision to spread the gospel! This is the stuff that
movements are made off!!
