VBS Testimony

On the first day of Vacation Bible School (VBS) one young boy, Anand, from the neighborhood sneaked out of his house to attend without telling his parents. He loved it all- the singing, the stories of Jesus and His love, the joy of the Lord that he saw in the smiles of staff and teachers alike. Later in the day, they had prayer time and he requested that the teachers and children pray that his parents would allow him to continue to attend every day of VBS. All of them prayed together that God would do this miracle. Later Anand told us, ãI belong to a staunch Hindu family. My parents have never allowed me to go to any Christian program. But after we all prayed, Jesus heard our prayers and changed my parent's hearts. They happily sent me to VBS. I accepted Jesus as my best friend and now have a new relationship with Him.ä
