Ethiopia

Ethiopia has a long history of Christianity dating back to the 4 th century. Though Christians have twice suffered severe persecution it has only served to unite and purify the church. Eighteen percent of Ethiopia's population now consider themselves believers and this number grows annually. United World Mission is training and sending out hundreds of church planting pastors so that a vibrant, reproducing church in planted in every town, village, and neighborhood of Ethiopia. This work is now entirely nationally led and therefore we are not seeking to place Western personal in this country. But United World Mission is actively seeking needed partnerships to complete some field projects.
