Vietnam

A long history of involvement in Vietnam has seen much fruit. However, we would like to once again help the church in a significant way. Our last workers left the country in 1973 and since then we have been encouraging the church from afar.

Western workers cannot go to many areas of the country so our facilitative approach works well. Those who will serve in this culture are required to use some marketable skills for entry. We desire to deploy a new team with complementary skills and passions whose focus is to help mature church leadership multiply itself and saturate this country with reproducing churches. This long-term approach requires cross-cultural workers who see themselves as facilitators rather than doers.

United World Mission is actively working to field additional personal into this country as well as developing needed partnerships to complete field projects.
